Rev. James Baroi has been passed away yesterday evening. He was admitted in a hospital at Dhaka for few days due to dialyses of his severe Kidney disease.
A short prayer service was led by Bishop Samuel S. Mankhin, Moderator- Church of Bangladesh at St. Andrew’s Church, Mirpur this morning. Other Bishop’s Rt. Rev. Hamen Halder of Kushtia Diocese, Bishop Paul S. Sarkar & other priest’s along with many people were present in this service.
The main funeral service will be held today evening at Barishal and after that late Rev. Baroi will be buried there.
Rev. Baroi left his beloved wife, two daughters, three grandchildren & many relatives.
He served to Church of Bangladesh for a long time.
