World Environment Day Celebration

The Church of Bangladesh and its developmental organization CBSDP celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2014. Different initiatives were taken by the Church and CBSDP. Seminars, rally, tree plantations took place in different parts of Bangladesh.

The UMOJA group in Khagrachhari planted tree and they were encouraged by their regular Bible study. Mr. Santu Adhikari is leading the group in Khagrachhari.

Environment Day Medium

Through the CBSDP’s projects trees were distributed to students to encourage them to care for the creation.

Hymn Book’s 6th Edition Launched

The new Hymn Book

On 8th July, 2013 the Church of Bangladesh’s Hymn Book’s 6th Edition has been launched by the Moderator of Church of Bangladesh and the Deputy Moderator of Church of Bangladesh during the Clergy Retreat, which held at Khulna.All the Clergy of Church of Bangladesh and their wives were present at the ceremony.

Paul25Web25 years of the Pastoral Ministry ofthe Rt. Rev. Paul Shishir Sarker

By the year 2012 Rt. Rev. Paul Shishir Sarkar has accomplished his 25 years service in pastoral Ministry of Church of Bangladesh. He was ordained as a deacon in January 1987. The occasion was celebrated through a special service of thanks giving arranged by Dhaka Diocese of COB on 22 September 2012. People attended the occasion expressed their gratitude and conveyed heartfelt thanks to him for his relentless service to Church. The Moderator in exchange gave thanks to all for their cooperation and asked blessing of God and continued support from them for his future ministry and pastoral care.
