On 25th September, the 150th Anniversary Celebration of the Oxford Mission was organised by USPG, UK. Rev. Suchitra Behera represented the Diocese of Barishal at this historic occasion. Bishop Shourabh Pholia conveyed his greetings and gratitude through a video message. Sr. Dorothy, Sister Superior, CSS, and Bishop Paritosh Canning also shared their video greetings during the service.We rejoice and take pride in the remarkable legacy and ministry of the Oxford Mission in Bangladesh.
On the same day, a Holy Communion Service was held at the Epiphany Cathedral, Oxford Mission, Barishal, led by Bishop Shourabh Pholia and Fr. Francis, Superior, SPB. In his brief address, the Bishop fondly remembered the devoted Fathers and Sisters who faithfully served, spread the Word, and bore witness to Christ through their lives. Following the service, a tea fellowship was held, attended by all employees, Fathers, and Sisters of the Oxford Mission.
