From April 7 to 9, 2025, the Meditation Meeting and Pastoral Seminar 2025 were held at the Rupantor Center of the Kushtia Diocese. The theme for the event was: ‘Come, let us awaken our dormant talents to the glory of the Lord’ (1 Peter 4:10).
The event was attended by the Right Reverend Hemen Halder, Bishop of Kushtia Diocese; priests and catechists from the two deaneries of Kushtia Diocese; and priests from Barishal Diocese. The Honorable Right Reverend Shourabh Pholia of Barisal Diocese was also present as a special guest.
Bishop Hemen Halder delivered a special session on discovering and developing personal talents. He emphasized that God has endowed each of us with unique gifts, and it is our spiritual duty to recognize and nurture them. During the session, he provided various materials—clay, paper, pens, and art paper—to encourage participants to express their creativity. Some wrote plays or poems, others sang songs, drew pictures, or created clay models. This hands-on activity brought joy and inspiration to the attending clergy and participants.
Other speakers at the seminar included Bishop Shourabh Pholia, Dr. David Biswas, and Rev. Suchitra Behera, among others.
