`Climate Justice: Churches Listening to the Voice of the Victims’ workshop held

“Climate Justice: Churches Listening to the Voice of the Victims” workshop held at Retreat & Prayer Garden (RPG CoB), Savar Dhaka on 7-13 November 2023. This workshop is organized by Asian Theological Academy (ATA), collaboration with USPG, Hosted by the Church of Bangladesh (CoB). There are about 55 participants attended actively and wholeheartedly of the program (ATA Board Members: 5 persons; Delegates: from Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, New Zeeland 10 persons; Bangladesh Participants: 30 persons, and Others 10). The main speakers were the Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman who spoke on the present socieo-economic and political scenario of the world due to the Climate Change, Pandemic and War in Ukraine, and urged people to listen to the cry of creation and to do something to bring back our ecological and cultural values for the world and in the history of the next generations

Chairperson of ATA & Board Members

The Most Revd. Samuel S Mankhin Moderator was nominated as Chairperson by the ATA Board Members during this Conference and Convocation. ATA Chairman was received and welcomed with flowers by the ATA Director, Dean, Board Members and All Delegates of the Consultation and Convocation.
