On October 12-13, 2023, the traditional Kirtan Festival of Bollovepur Deanery was celebrated at Bollovepur Immanuel Church. The Bishop of Kushtia Diocese inaugurated the festival by lighting candles. Ten kirtan teams performed songs from the Old and New Testaments. The festival concluded with Nagar Kirtan, (a traditional procession with carol).
