MSP-4 Combined Workshop on Material Development

A three days long workshop organized in Savar, Dhaka under MSP4 project funded by CWM. The workshop focused on developing training curriculum on six different areas. 35 members of the thematic technical team along with the Conveners were present from 25 to 27 September 2019. Our Deputy Moderator Rt. Rev. Shourabh Pholia Bishop of Barishal Diocese took part in this workshop.

The Program Head of MSP4 Paul S. Malakar explained the mile stones of the project and the purpose of preparing training curriculum.

At the end of the training program all the members felt proud of their work. They have express their interest to work for the Church with the curriculum to aware the members of the Church.

The St Andrew’s Theological College Opening Service held

The St Andrew’s Theological College Opening Service was held on July 6, 2014 at St Thomas Cathedral Church, Sadarghat  with  the Holy Communion service. Rt Rev Paul S Sarker officiated  and also preached at the service. supporting  his sermon  according to the Gospel St. Matthew  5:27-30, 33-37 the Bishop elaborated on the theme ‘The source of truth and purity is in the heart.’ During the service, the staff and students also committed themselves afresh by saying a prayer of dedication together.

We are happy to have Rev. Gary Van Brocklin and Mrs. Marelene Van Brocklin from 4th March to 13th March 2014. They visited Moderator’s office, Haluaghat Deanery, St. Andrew’s Theological College and Ekota Project at Sadarghat area, Dhaka.
