SOW for The Harvest: Inter denominational Training Program held

From August 7 to 9, an inter-denominational training program titled “SOW for The Harvest” was held at the Oriental Pastoral Care Centre in Barishal, hosted by the Barishal Diocese in collaboration with the Bangladesh Prayer Movement. The program was inaugurated by the Rt. Revd. Shourabh Pholia, Bishop of the Barishal Diocese.

During the three-day training, participants received instruction on various topics, ranging from the foundations of pastoral care to the call to harvest souls. The main objective of the training was spiritual growth and the expansion of God’s kingdom. Sessions were led by Rt. Revd. Shourabh Pholia, Pastor Nohimio Biswas, Pastor Benjamin Bowm, and Pastor Lal Lim. It helped the participants to learn and renew themselves to share the Gospel with others and be a witness for Christ.

A total of 40 participants, including priests and catechists from different parishes of the Barishal Diocese, as well as preachers from other denominations participated in the training program.
