On January 28, 2025, the Honorable Moderator and Bishop of Dhaka, Right Rev. Samuel Sunil Mankhin, along with Mrs. Monita Mankhin, Synod Education Coordinator, Rev. Immanuel Mithu Mallick, Mission and Propagation Secretary, and Rev. Ripon Roy, Parish Priest of Christ Church Chittagong, visited Khagrachhari Hill District.
During the visit, the Honorable Moderator, Right Rev. Samuel Sunil Mankhin, consecrated the chapel, office, and guest room with prayers and led a prayer meeting in the chapel. He then met with the evangelists of Khagrachhari New Parish to provide guidance and instructions.
The Honorable Moderator also encouraged the initiation of a campaign to establish 30 churches in Khagrachhari Hill District by the end of 2025.
From April 17-18, 2013, a Partnership Retreat was held between COB and Compassion International-Bangladesh at RRF Training Centre, Jessore. The main theme of this Retreat was selected from Colossians 3: 23`whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for men.’
