Rajshahi, July 4, 2024 – The Church of Bangladesh, with invaluable support from the Methodist Church Great Britain, is proud to announce the development and launch of six policy guidelines. These guidelines, crafted in both English and Bangla, are set to enhance our operations, ensure the safety and inclusivity of our community, and foster effective communication.
Introducing Our New Policies:
- Finance Policy Guidelines: Ensuring transparent and accountable financial management.
- Administration Policy Guidelines: Streamlining administrative processes for greater efficiency.
- Human Resources Policy Guidelines: Focusing on staff well-being, recruitment, and training.
- Child Protection Policy Guidelines: Establishing standards to safeguard children from harm.
- Gender Equality and Inclusion Policy Guidelines: Promoting respect and dignity for all members.
- Communication and Public Relations Policy Guidelines: Enhancing our internal and external communication strategies.
Celebrating the Launch: The official inauguration and introductory conference for these policies took place in Rajshahi from July 1 to 4, 2024. This momentous event saw the gathering of nearly all clergy and bishops from across our dioceses, reflecting our unified commitment to these new guidelines.
