Women’s Fellowship.
Women’s FellowsIn May 2022 CoB organized a 4 days workshop based on The Church of Bangladesh Strategic Plan 2021-2030 for the women’s fellowship. The workshop started on the 12th of May. Mr. Paul Subrata Malakar the program & communication director did facilitate the workshop. Our respected Moderator and the Bishop of Kushtia Diocese were present in the workshop. They both shared their valuable inspirational speech and thoughts with the women’s group. The goal of the workshop was to introduce the newly developed strategic papers to the women’s fellowship. This workshop opens the doors for the women of the Church to re-think deeply about their responsibilities to the church in the coming years. The diocesan women’s committee members did participate in this workshop. Through this workshop, we tried to find out the ongoing church Women fellowship’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats by doing the SWOT analysis. We also did prepare the activities of the women’s fellowship in the church for the next five years and tried to find out the responsibilities of the Woman’s fellowship in the Church.
Youth Fellowship
From the 1st of June to the 4th of June 2022 CoB organized a 4 days workshop based on The Church of Bangladesh strategic plan 2021-2030 for the youth fellowship. The goal of the workshop was to introduce the newly developed strategic papers to the youth. This workshop opens the doors for the youth of the Church to re-think deeply about their responsibilities to the church in the coming years. The diocesan Youth committee members did participate in this workshop. Through this workshop, we tried to find out the ongoing church youth fellowship’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats by doing the SWOT analysis. We also did prepare the activities of the youth fellowship in the church for the next five years and tried to find out the responsibilities of the youth fellowship in the Church. In the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, most schools and colleges were shut down. So the church youth group is in a vulnerable position. When we did plan for the next five years they gave high importance to increasing the communication between each other. They did planes in for exchange visit program in the dioceses. Our respected Moderator and the Bishop of Barishal Diocese were present in the workshop. They both shared their valuable inspirational speech and thoughts with the youth group.
