On 27th of October to 30th October 2021 Synod women fellowship seminar has held at retreat and prayer garden savar Dhaka. The main theme of this seminar was based on John 10:10 “I came that they may have life & may have it abundantly.” The honorable Moderator of Church of Bangladesh the Most Revd. Samuel S Mankhin delivered his speech on the main theme. Sixty seven participants from seven deaneries under three dioceses joined the program.
Rt. Revd. Shourabh Pholia Bishop of Barisal diocese delivered his speech on the Christian family. He also emphasized during his speech that in Christ we are one human family. Mrs. Suchitra Behera took a session on Ester 4:14. During her session, she offered an open discussion where the participants were able to share their weaknesses. Dr. Florence Lipika Sammadder gave an awareness speech on the COVID-19 situation and what is the role of women’s during this COVID-19 pandemic situation. Mrs. Kalika Biswas spoke on the pledges based on Malachi 3:10. Here Mrs. Biswas inspired women to contribute more prayer, effort, wealth to the Church. Mrs. Mridula Baidya gave her speech on 1 John 2:16.
Two sisters from the Christo Shebika Songho Jobarpar lead the retreat for the women’s fellowship.
There was a cultural program where almost all participants showed their talents. All participants enjoyed it very much.
