Through this workshop participants have learnt properly more than 50 hymns from the new hymn book. In these hymns there were few new hymns too. Priests, Sisters and some renowned choir leaders were there to teach the hymns. Mr. Francis Bala was the key person to lead the workshop and helped how to sing the hymns.

25 years of the Pastoral Ministry ofthe Rt. Rev. Paul Shishir SarkerBy the year 2012 Rt. Rev. Paul Shishir Sarkar has accomplished his 25 years service in pastoral Ministry of Church of Bangladesh. He was ordained as a deacon in January 1987. The occasion was celebrated through a special service of thanks giving arranged by Dhaka Diocese of COB on 22 September 2012. People attended the occasion expressed their gratitude and conveyed heartfelt thanks to him for his relentless service to Church. The Moderator in exchange gave thanks to all for their cooperation and asked blessing of God and continued support from them for his future ministry and pastoral care.
During 6 to 8 February 2013 CWM Executive meeting was held in Dhaka. On 8 February a reception was given by Church of Bangladesh to the committee members. After a special morning service at St Thomas’ Cathedral the reception took place. The General Secretary of CWM Dr Collin Powel delivered sermon in the service.
