Our good news of the month is of our Suborna, a girl from a neighboring village who completed her training here 12 years ago.
Suborna went on to work in a community development project, and there she met her husband to be.
Their marriage was a happy one until the birth of her first baby, which died in the womb before five months pregnancy. This was followed by another two attempts each resulting in very high blood pressure and death of the baby in the womb.
Suborna arrived suddenly at Bollobhpur after several years again with a very high blood pressure, and an early pregnancy.
We did not let her go, she was given a private cabin to rest in and soaked in prayer. Every attempt was made to keep her blood pressure under some sort of control and suddenly as her eight month began her membranes ruptured and a baby girl, tiny but health was born, Thanks be to god.
The baby weighed 1kg 300gm and is in our incubator, and after a turbulent beginning is now twenty-three days old, and though still very small and not yet up to birth weight is doing well and enjoying playing around in the warmth of her incubator. Give thanks with us for this miracle of God`s goodness, and pray for the baby to grow big and strong and go home in her ecstatic parent arm.
