Expanding Capacity at Christian Mission Hospital Healthcare

This period, a 4-bed post-operative care unit has been introduced at the Mission Hospital to improve the quality of healthcare services.

New beds with mattresses have been provided for the wards and cabins, replacing old and unusable ones. To manage the increasing number of new patients every month, additional staff have been appointed.

At present, the hospital serves on average 100 in-patients and more than 200 out-patients daily. Accordingly, the hospital’s capacity and workforce have been expanded. However, due to the shortage of beds, many patients still need to be sent back. To cope with the extreme heat, an air conditioner has also been installed in Ward No. 7. For better eye care services, it was necessary to repair the old roof and tile the surrounding areas of the Eye Department. These repairs were carried out last week.
