A three day’s training workshop on MSP4 project at the Meditation and Conference Center at Savar from 14th to 16th September 2020 was held. The Most Rev. Samuel Sunil Mankhin, the CoB Moderator and Bishop of the Dhaka Diocese was present in this training workshop. 15 catechists from Dhaka, Haluaghat, Madhupur Deanery and Chittagong City Pastorate, The Deans of Dhaka & Haluaghat Deanery were present in the Program. A total of 25 people including all the priests of Dhaka Deanery and the Program Head of the project Mr. Paul Subrata Malakar participated in the event.
The theme of the training workshop was how to conduct training and preach in their congregation especially how to raise awareness of the congregation. The Rt. Rev. Samuel Sunil Mankhin, Rev. John Probhudan Hira, Principal of St. Andrew’s Theology Collage and Paul Subrata Malakar conducted the program. Hope the catechists will be able to spend a better time returning to their workplaces from the workshop, preach the topics discussed, prepare new topics, and stay with the family through family visits at special times.
In the evaluation session of the workshop, the participants expressed their views and made a special request to organize such training workshops to enhance their skills in the future too.
