In 2011,  the Rt. Rev. Samuel S Mankhin, Bishop of Kushtia Diocese started the Church Of Bangladesh’s evangelical program, all over Rajshahi Deanery,  based on the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. This program Is now supervised by Deans of Rajshahi deanery and Convener Rev. Immanuel Mollick. These evangelical works have been done in the district of Rajshahi and Chapai Nawabgonj.

On 2nd June 2010, 95 people were converted after three months’ work in Kushtia village. Their baptisms were solemnized in the presence of Dean. Rev. Probhudan Hira, all priests, all the evangelists, catechists and other Church leaders from the area. Mr.Samuel Hembrom and Mr. Dibaranjan Sarker worked very hard for this new congregation and to build a church building which is situated in Tanore area of greater Rajshahi.

Again the following month on 15th July 2010 in Lalmati village about 37 people were baptized in the presence of Bishop Samuel S Mankhin and Rev John Webber along with the Dean, all the priests, evangelists, deacons and other church leaders from the area. The evangelist here was Mr. Mathias Murmu. This village is situated in Godagari Thana of Rajshahi district. Between 2010 and 2019 there were 16 new Santali congregations established and over 2500 souls had been added to the Church of Bangladesh.

Forty tribal people from the Chakma, Marma and Tripura tribes of Rangamati publicly accepted Christ as their Saviour in a baptism service in Christ church, Chittagong on the 11th June 2010. It is worth mentioning that for many years the Chittagong city pastorate has been trying to establish a church in Rangamati district. Two evangelists Mr. James Baroi and Mr. Michel Dio were appointed to preach in this area. Their hard work has helped forty people to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour, which was witnessed through their baptism during the Holy Communion service. Rev. John Webber baptized them with the assistance of Rev. Daniel Mondal and Rev. Hemen Halder. At the end of the service there was a function to welcome the newly baptized people to the church. The baptism of these forty people has led to the Church of Bangladesh establishing a new church in Rangamati district.
